Earlier in 2022, we joined the board of Brentwood Environmental Business Alliance, and made a pledge to assist with carbon reduction.
Following on from this, we attended a ceremony at the 124 (Essex) Squadron as part of The Queen’s Green Canopy tree planting initiative. Following her Platinum Jubilee, this was also a time to reflect on Her Majesty’s passing.
The Queen’s Green Canopy is a project which aims to plant 1,000,000 trees across the UK by 2035, with the aim of providing greener, healthier cities to be enjoyed by local residents.
We hope that our contribution will help contribute towards carbon reduction goals in the future. At Zest Recycle, we are proud to be an active member of the Brentwood community, and we will continue to support causes that help our environment. We are delighted to be part of this initiative, and we are looking forward to seeing our trees flourish for years to come.
