The new partnership will see Zest Recycle manage all of the waste generated at CNH Industrial’s 40 hectare state-of-the-art manufacturing site in Basildon dedicated to the production of farming and agriculture equipment.

The nature and scale of the operation at the Basildon plant, where a tractor is produced every four minutes, means that the site generates a multitude of waste streams in significant volumes, including various packaging materials, wood, confidential waste and a range of specialist waste and oils.

CNH Industrial appointed Zest Recycle to take over full management of their waste operations due to their extensive experience, partnership approach and focus on sustainability.

Marcus Sanders, Sales and Marketing Director at Zest Recycle commented: “This partnership extends our growing portfolio of clients in the industrial manufacturing sector and we are of course, very pleased to be working with CNH Industrial, a leading global company with which we share many of the same values in terms of compliance, sustainability and innovation. A key aim of the partnership is to align waste management practices with CNH Industrial’s wider sustainability goals, through introducing new and innovative processes that will move the management of waste further up the Waste Hierarchy. CNH Industrial is committed to responsibly and sustainably managing the waste produced at its Basildon site” said Paul Cumming Environmental Specialist in CNH Industrial NV. “With 92% of all manufacturing waste recovered globally, we look forward to working with Zest Recycle to further improve in this area”.
